We protect your personal privacy and it is important to us that you feel safe with how we handle your personal information. We are completely transparent about how we collect, process and share the information we store about you. We never sell your personal information to third parties without your permission.

We think it is absolutely fantastic that there is a regulation at European level with the aim of making the handling of personal data better and clearer for our users. A clear purpose of the regulation is precisely to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of personal information, in particular your right to the protection of personal data.In this policy, we want to explain how we collect and use your personal information and how you can access, edit and delete it. Why do we collect information about you?
We need to process your personal data in accordance with this policy in order for our service to work in the best possible way. Some personal information is also used to provide the best possible service and support. We do this with the greatest possible regard for your privacy and your rights and freedoms.

Personal Information

  • Identifier of device: We create an ID for your device, for example a mobile phone or tablet, when registering in Yippin. We do this with the help of a onesignal. This is to be able to differentiate you as a user from another user.
  • Email: We need your email address to legally send you a receipt. We investigate whether it is enough for the receipt to be displayed in the application. The e-mail address is also used to communicate with you as a customer and for targeted offers from, for example, bars, restaurants, hotels and events. These targeted messages are selectable. They are selected via a check box when you enter your email address and you can easily email STOP to info@yippinorders.com or reply to STOP in the email to stop receiving these targeted offers.
  • Payment information: We need your payment information (card number, expiration date and CVV code) to complete the purchase. We do not save this information but send it to one of our Personal Data Assistants (Stripe) who gives us an encrypted so-called token to access your information when you want to complete a purchase.
  • Location: When you use the service and have agreed that we have access to your location information, we use your location information to show which restaurant you are visiting. This information is not stored by us but is only used locally in the application.
  • Ordering information and Purchase history: By law, we need to provide accounting documents to our stores. This information must by law be stored for seven (7) years.

How do we collect the information?
You can directly or indirectly give us information about yourself in a number of different ways. Either by filling in information yourself when you create a user or by using a third party to create a user, e.g. Login through social media.

When you make a purchase, we save this information for legal purposes, e.g. accounting records. We also save it and show the information for each store / retailer for the opportunity to e.g. to make repurchases.

Where do we process the information?

  • Restaurants/Sellers: The restaurants / sellers that offer Yippin in their environment take part in certain personal information to complete the order. Some personal data is used to deliver the order and other personal data to enforce laws concerning e.g. accounting. Some merchants will use your email address to make targeted mailings. You have the right to avoid these mailings by simply replying to STOP these emails or sending STOP to info@yippinorders.com. Personal information that concerns this is: e-mail address, purchase history for each store / seller
  • Microsoft Azure: We use Microsoft Azure to store personal information. Person information that concerns: e-mail address, token for payment information, order information and Purchase history
  • Stripe: We use Stripe to complete the transaction in the safest way. We do not have access to the payment information used by Stripe. We also do not send any other information to Stripe in addition to what you fill in yourself when paying.We are happy to share our Personal Data Processing Agreement. Contact us at privacy@yippinorders.com. We always strive to process your data within the EU / EEA. However, in some situations the data may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside the EU / EEA by another supplier or subcontractor. When this is done, all reasonable legal, technical and organizational measures are taken to ensure that your data is handled securely and with an adequate level of protection in accordance with the GDPR.

Who can we share your information with?
To provide our service, we need help from some other companies. In accordance with the GDPR, data processing agreements have been established with all personal data processing agreement. Authorities:
Yippin may provide necessary information to authorities such as the police, the tax authorities or other authorities if we are required to do so by law or if you have agreed that we do so. An example of a legal obligation to provide information is for measures against money laundering and terrorist financing.

How long do we store the information?
We store data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which the information was collected, or to carry out our commitments and for as long as required by statutory storage periods, in particular as regards accounting requirements. You can choose to delete your account yourself, then only information that by law must be saved is saved. This is only done for as long as it is necessary. We have clear routines for how we work with storage minimization.

We have the right to remove information and users who do not follow the law or are considered by us to be offensive and / or do not follow the policy. Our responsibility does not exclude that users are responsible for what they publish.

What happens in the event of a data breach or a personal data incident?
Should a serious data breach or a personal data incident occur, we will notify all affected parties as soon as possible via email and also the Data Inspectore Board.

Your rights of access, correction and deletion
Your data is your data. We therefore want to inform you that you can get:

  • Access to your data,
  • Right to rectification,
  • Right to be deleted, and
  • Right to data portability.
